Two Eastern New Mexico University (ENMU) football players are real heroes for saving a man's life.
Chevy Mikaele and Ben Langford were attending Bible study at their church after their football practice when they heard John Reilly, who was working on his truck across the street, begin screaming for help.
"The truck was completely crushing him, completely on his chest," said Pastor Johnny Pacheco.
The players, along with a few members of the church, raced across the church and lifted the 2.5 ton truck, pulling Reilly to safety.
They aren't taking the credit though.
"It wasn't us, it was God," said Mikaele."You can see this truck looks pretty heavy. It wasn't us. It took the strength of God for us to pick this up, so all the glory goes to God, not us."
The men weren't even supposed to be there that evening. Typically, they go home after practice.
Pastor Pacheco said, "I believe that if God didn't have us placed here, and if he wasn't able to give the strength to these men, he would have died under that vehicle."
John is still in the hospital, fighting for his life. His wife, Mary, is asking for prayers that he'll make it through.
