When Caiden Lane was born, his parents, Mashanda and Michael, immediately noticed that he never cried and would simply sit and stare for long periods of time. Doctors diagnosed him with autism. That diagnosis turned out to be incorrect. As it turns out, Caiden had apraxia and aphasia. When he was an infant, he suffered two strokes (one in utero, the other after birth). The part of the brain that handles communication was damaged. Doctors told the family Caiden would probably never walk or talk normally.
This all changed one day while the family was at, of all place, Chick-fil-A. Watch the video to learn the rest of Caiden's story.
