There’s a quote that says, “A teacher takes a hand, opens a mind, and touches a heart.”
It sounds like this Atlanta teacher, Mr. Jermaine, is one of those amazing teachers. He shared this note from his student Markus on Twitter and we couldn’t read this on the air without getting choked up. As a matter of fact, we shared this twice yesterday and choked up reading each time!

So I walked in the classroom and found this letter on the desk that one of my kids wrote me and... I tried so hard not tear up pic.twitter.com/QTbQ6kZ2bH
The note reads:
To Mr. J
Thank you for being a awesome teacher and for being amazing! This school year was so fun and I enjoyed it because of you.
I wish more teachers was like you. I will never forget you. I look at you like my dad. I never met my real dad but it okay because you treat me like I'm your son. You make me so happy. Always feeding me when I am hungry and hug me when I am sad.
I will never forget you Mr. J. I love you and I will never forget about you!
The little things you do for someone are always noticed. When you have an opportunity to show love to someone today, do it. You never know how much they need your smile, your kindness, your love.
