Molly’s Minute: Fall Without Fear
Have you ever done a trust fall before? You know, where you fall backwards into the arms of someone behind you?
I have. And I can tell you that the trust fall really does show you who you trust.
Because, when you don’t really trust the person catching you, you get scared, and you don’t let yourself fall. You don’t fully believe that they’ll catch you, so you bail out and try to catch yourself.
But when you’re falling into the arms of someone you trust, you fall without fear. Because you know they wouldn’t let you hit the floor.
The thought of falling is scary. But when we trust the one catching us, that fear evaporates.
Isaiah 41:31, “For I, the LORD your God, hold your right hand; it is I who say to you, ‘Fear not, I am the one who helps you.'”
God is holding us constantly, keeping us steady and ready to catch us when we fall.
So, let’s put our trust in Him today so that when we fall, we can fall without fear.
