Molly’s Minute: If It’s In God’s Hands, It’s In Good Hands
One day in middle school, a friend of mine asked to borrow something important to me: my favorite book.
So, I lent it to her, trusting that she’d take care of it.
But she didn’t.
When she returned it, I saw that she’d bent and scratched the cover and dog-eared and torn the pages. And I regretted placing something so important to me in her hands.
We might have to worry about the things we give to other people.
But we never have to worry about the things we give to God.
Psalm 25 says, “Lord, I put my life in your hands. I trust in you, my God, and I will not be disappointed.”
If we put something in God’s hand’s, He won’t let us down. It won’t get dented or scratched or torn.
He will take better care of it than we ever could.
So, today, let’s lay our lives before Him. And let’s trust that if it’s in His hands, it’s in good hands.
Psalm 25:1-3 “Lord, I put my life in your hands. I trust in you, my God, and I will not be disappointed. My enemies will not laugh at me. No one who trusts in you will be disappointed.”
