Molly’s Minute: Your Father Knows What You Need
I remember a day a little while ago, I came home after work, and I’d just had a rough day. So, I told my husband, Vaughn, about it. And right away he asked me:
“Do you want to watch TV and eat some snacks?”
And I know it sounds silly, but that meant a lot to me.
Because that was exactly what I wanted to do. And he knows me so well, I didn’t even need to tell him. Before I said a word, he already knew what I needed.
God knows us like that, too.
Matthew 6:8 says, “…your father knows what you need before you ask Him.”
God knows you better than anyone.
He knows all your thoughts, all your hurt, all your desires. He knows exactly what you need before you even say a word.
So whatever you need today, or even if you don’t know what you need, God knows. And if you go to Him, He will meet your need.
